ENTRY DEADLINE: Friday, February 4th, 2011 6:00P.M.
RULES: This is a sanctioned tournament, USAW Card required. KSHSAA rules with Kansas Kids modifications. Wrestlers can wrestle up an age bracket, but are not allowed to double dip.
AWARDS: Custom Medals will be presented to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th place in each bracket.
REGISTRATION: Entries must be received by 6:00P.M. Friday, February 4th. The following information must be provided for each wrestler: Name, age group, weight class (exact weight if HWT), USAW card number, years of experience (do not include current year), and ranking.
PLEASE RANK WRESTERS: (A) Excellent - Usually 1st, (B) Good - Consistent 2nd/3rd, (C) Average - Usually 4th, (D) Novice - Beginner
WEIGHTS: * Please provide exact weights for heavyweights* 6U: 37, 40, 43, 46, 49, 52, 55, 58, 61, 64, 67, 70, Hwt. 8U: 40, 43, 46, 49, 52, 55, 58, 61, 64, 67, 70, 73, 76, 80, 88, Hwt. 10U: 52, 55, 58, 61, 64, 67, 70, 73, 76, 79, 82, 85, 90, 95, 100, 110, 120, 130, Hwt. 12U: 64, 68, 72, 76, 80, 84, 88, 92, 96, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 130, 140, 150, 165, Hwt. 14U: 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 125, 130, 135, 140, 145, 150, 155, 160, 165, 175, Hwt. *Age division will be the age as of August 31, 2010
WEIGH-IN: Sports Arena Friday, February 11, from 6-8P.M. NO Saturday weigh-ins. Satellite weigh-ins will be posted on www.usawks.com talk forum
Bracketing: 8-Man double elimination brackets (with the following exceptions). Brackets with fewer than five wrestlers will be wrestled as round robins. Will bracket by ranking and years of experience (novice wrestlers will be bracketed separately when possible). We reserve the right to combine any age/weight.
COACHES MEETING: 8:00A.M. WRESTLING STARTS: 8:30A.M. Coaches: To be allowed on the arena floor, you must have a coach’s floor pass and coaches card present.
We are pleased to announce that BLUE CHIP ATHLETIC will be at our tournament this year selling tournament shirts and a wide variety of wrestling gear and apparel.
Concessions available, programs available for $5.00, brackets available for $1.00 each.
